What we learned this week:
Phonics: We learned the letter Ee and the 2 sounds it represents. We also learned that letter Ee is a vowel! We reviewed all of the letters and sounds we have learned so far.
Reading: We used our schema to discuss what we already know about how apples grow and shared what we learned after reading a non-fiction book about apples.
Writing: We brainstormed topics to write about by looking at the world around us.
Math: We started Topic 2: Compare Numbers 0 to 5.
High Frequency Words: We learned the word “and”. We have learned the following words: I, a, am, the, like, eat, in, it, did, into, and. Continue to practice reading and writing these words at home.
