Book Fair is the week of January 30th.
We are starting a personal narrative writing unit. Please send in 3-4 pictures of your student so that they can write about the event in the picture. Make sure they are events that they remember and can give details about (examples: birthday party, family vacation, sports, etc.)
What we learned this week:
Reading: Our new reading unit is about technology at home and school. We discussed the differences and similarities between technology in the past and present.
Writing: We introduced our next unit on personal narratives. Students learned characteristics of personal narrative writing. We will use the pictures you send in to write stories about events that happened in our own lives!
Math: We started Topic 6 and began learning about addition up to 10.
