May 1: Alphabet countdown! Hat Day- Wear your favorite hat.
May 2: Alphabet countdown! Ice Pop Day- We will eat ice pops during our last recess! (If you would like to donate some otter pops, please let me know.)
May 3: Alphabet countdown! Jersey and Jokes Day- Wear your favorite team jersey and prepare a joke to share with the class.
May 4: Alphabet countdown! Kickball Game- We will play a game of kickball with the other kindergarten classes during our last recess.
May 5: Alphabet countdown! Lollipop Day- We will have a lollipop while we work.
May 1 - May 5: i-Ready End-of-Year Diagnostic Math- This will be the last i-Ready test of the year!

What we learned this week:
Kindies worked really hard on their iReady reading assessment. Next week we will take our iReady assessment.
Reading: We read the book “Two Wool Gloves”. We discussed what the squirrels' needs were and how their needs were met.
Math: We took our Topic 10 test and started Topic 11. Topic 10 tests were sent home in yellow folders.
High Frequency Words: This week we learned the words “yellow”, “blue” and "my". Words we have learned so far: I, a, am, the, like, eat, in, it, did, into, and, we, see, go, no, so, has, as, is, his, does, box, on, was, man, am, at, that, hand, ran, friend, they, he, little, play, men, red, help, end, yes, went, get, way, away, say, day, run, up, under, must, and, you, there, big, with, very, our, out, all, good, no, for, jump, one, girl, are, here, your, have, said, two, love, when, look, me, come, here, away, yellow, blue, my.
